The Appalachia Community Cancer Network (ACCN), with Headquarters at the University of Kentucky Prevention Research Center is a team of community partners and academic collaborators from Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia working together to reduce cancer health disparities in the Appalachian region.

The ACCN is one of 23 Community Networks Program Centers across the country funded by the National Cancer Institute Center to Reduce Cancer Health Disparities (NCI CRCHD) to conduct community-based participatory research (CBPR), education and training activities to reduce the cancer burden in minority and underserved communities.
